Parade Information
We meet at Brussel Legion, 620 Turnberry St, Brussels, ON N0G 1H0, every Tuesday night from September to June.

The opening parade begins at 1830 hrs (6:30 PM).

Parents/guardians must arrive before 21:00 (9:00 PM) for pick-up.

It is important that cadets are picked up on time as per our policy.
Cadets are expected to participate in the training program, which includes:

Leadership, fitness, and citizenship training

Regular Monday night training
-
Weekend activities scheduled throughout the training year
Training Program
The Army Cadet training program consists of five training levels:

Green Star – New recruits
-
Red Star
-
Silver Star
-
Gold Star
-
Master Cadet – Senior cadets of the Corps
Cadets who attend and successfully complete their training requirements will progress to the next level in the following training year.
Army Cadet Rank System
The Army Cadet rank system allows cadets to develop leadership skills and take on additional responsibilities. Promotions are based on performance, training level, and participation.

Q: What should my cadet bring to training nights?
A: Cadets should arrive in their uniform (if issued) or appropriate attire. They should also bring a water bottle and a notebook for training.
Q: What happens if my cadet misses a training night?
A: If a cadet is unable to attend, they must submit a Cadet Absence Form through Cadet 365 before the scheduled training.
Q: Is there a cost to join Army Cadets?
A: No, the program is free to join. However, some optional activities or trips may have associated costs.
Q: How do I stay updated on cadet activities?
A: Information is shared through Cadet 365 and in-person announcements.
